Sunday morning spin report.
13 riders left Topshop in damp conditions and headed over the Curraghmore Climb at a steady pace. A little attack over the top saw the group fragment on the descent into Tralee before regrouping on the bypass. The group then tackled the continuous drag towards Dan Paddy Andy’s Cross before a fast descent into Castleisland for the ritual coffee stop.
Once the obligatory group photo was taken, the group made its way towards Farranfore and Scart Cross were where we stopped for a few moments of silence for Ed Duggan.
We headed home for Milltown via Ballyhar, Glen Cross and Listry. The pace was a lively 28.5 kph, a good pace considering the typical “flat route” selected by our leisure road captain.
